Stress Reduction, Mondays at Lunch
How professional do you treat your thoughts?
By "professional," I mean can you receive freaked-out thoughts with tender, kind understanding?
In other words:
Can you embody self-love towards your thinking?
On Mondays I host a free group, named "Let's do The Work at Lunch time"
In German at 12.15 pm Zurich time and
In English at 12:15 p.m. London time.
In both groups we meet for 45 mins.
We practice The Work of Byron Katie® also know as Inquiry Based Stress Reduction®.
We identify stress-filled thoughts, then practice self-inquiry on one.
Thoughts that showed up last week were:
- I’m under time pressure.
- I’m afraid of the future.
- The right partner would improve my life.
- I need to do more.
- I am broken - I’m not enough.
- Being sick is proof of failure.
- It is my fault that I am sick.
- The situation is broken.
- I must do everything right/I must be right.
Then we chose one thought and self-inquired into it.
Meeting a thought with understanding, shifts worlds.
This practice is very simple. It is designed so that you can do it on your own. On Mondays we practice it together.
